A memorable summer in the Dolomites
On the Dolomites, there’s something for everyone – from family-friendly tours of alpine pastures to challenging summit hikes and spectacular climbs. Whether you’re a solo traveller looking for some peace and quiet, an ambitious athlete or a family with small children, you won’t be disappointed. Don’t miss the chance to take a walk around the iconic Three Peaks, the local landmark. Mountain bikers can challenge themselves on the surrounding mountains, either on Alpine paths or punchy pass roads – there are trails at every level of difficulty.
Deer, lynx, wild boar, raccoons… the local wildlife park is home to a variety of animal species that are indigenous to the Alps. This is a fantastic destination for a great day out – and not just for children! You can set off on foot from the hostel and walk along a lovely path to get there. On hot summer days, the Dobbiaco bathing lake offers the chance for a refreshing dip in gorgeous mountain surroundings. The Grieswaldile recreation area, situated in the vicinity, features a fitness trail and a large children’s playground.
